I’m Phil, a professional photographer, based just outside Edinburgh. I specialise in portraiture work, both personal and business (as well as the occassional animal), advertising, event photography and weddings.

Before starting my photography business I was an Associate Creative Director / Art Director working in the Scottish Advertising Industry, it’s where my photographic education started really, having had the chance to work with some of the UK’s top commercial photographers over the years.

But I have a great skill crossover in producing and collaborating on ideas led work, understanding an ad brief and working to tight commercial timeframes and budgets.

For those bigger projects I have a network of production teams that I can pull in and I’m not shy of working on those budget challenged smaller projects either.
